I am on a roll!!  Inspired by current events (a break-in down the street where the computer was stolen and a gift of a 16 gig memory card from my friend Kellie), I backed up all of my pictures today!!!  Admittedly I have not deleted any yet, but I am making progress.

In October we enjoyed a baby shower for my friend Shelley (little Gracie was born in December and she is beautiful!), spending time outside in the chilly weather, and lots of fun fall events.

Here is Little Man playing soccer in his footie pajamas.  He actually is pretty good at dribbling and drop kicking the soccer ball!  Maybe that will be his sport one day?

We went to Zoo Boo with some of our friends from Life Group.  Isn't that group photo amazing?

I look crazy here, but this was the best family picture we got.

Mason shows off his bowling skills to win a prize!  We actually won 2 sippy cups by luck of the draw, picking up little plastic ducks! Mason managed to "win" a prize at every booth.  No cheating was involved.

One day, when the weather was really pretty, Mason and I ventured out to a place down the road called Jenkins' Creek.  I had heard of it from a friend and I wanted to see what it was all about.  I met Mr. Jenkins himself and he showed me around and let Mason and me explore for free.  It was really nice!  We spent about 2 hours there just playing in the creek.  Mason loved it!!

Here is our tiny lion again.  It was a TASK to get that on him, to say the least, and he refused to wear the gloves or the hood.  I tried.

If you asked him what the lion says he would go "rahhhhh" as soft as possible.  Like, you could barely hear him.  However, when asked what the duck says, he would go "QUAAACK!!!!"

Believe it or not, he stuffed that tiny Trick or Treat bag to the brim.  He would actually go up to the doors and hold his little bag out.  It was so cute!  Then, he'd take the candy out and bite into it, wrapper and all.

On the first weekend of November we went out to Grandma and Grandpa's house where Mimi and Grandma were having a yard sale.

We spent a lot of the day out there playing with cousins, sitting on tractors, and picking up pecans.

That tractor might have been a tiny bit old and dirty.

We had several takes of this photo...

The best one we could get! Haha!  Mason sure does love his cousins!

Still Catching Up!

This was our third year to go to Dream Field Farms to pick out our pumpkin.  The first year was just Ben and me.  We turned around pretty much at the gate when we the price of admission and realized it would be pointless for two adults with no children to pay that much.  Then for the past 2 years we have gone with our life group and all the life group kiddos.  Mason was much too young last year to know what was going on (but he did love the corn pit), but this year he was a great age!  We had the best time!

Here he is looking at a bee on the sunflowers.

For some reason, he does not like (at all) bounce houses or giant slides.  I find this pretty funny since he is so adventurous.  Can you see his face as he is going down the slide, clenching that tractor?

I wish my computer had the capacity for me to edit these.  It is still full. I am a hoarder who can't let any images go to the external drive until they are blogged or accounted for in some fashion. Thank you.

The corn pit was a hit again this year.  I love that thing!  It is especially fun when you conveniently have tractors for digging on hand.

Once in a lifetime shot: Mason and Caden both looking in the same direction at the same time!  These boys are so hard to get a picture of because they are both 90 to nothing! They are so funny together.

Here we are in the pumpkin patch.  Mason took one look at the pumpkins all out in the patch and said "Ball!" He kept trying to pick them up and throw them.

Sweet little Harper, the newest addition to our lifegroup.

Harper is Hadley's little sister.

Once Mason discovered these tractors he did not want to do anything else. He cried when we made him get off to go see the animals.

Finally! A slide that is more his speed.

I realized after posting these pictures that I did a terrible job at getting any group photos! I will have to remember that for next year.

This was Mason's second time at the fair.  Last year I had to work and so Ben took him with some friends.  He was really too young to know he was even there.  This year he was asleep before we even got there and we had to wake him up!

We ran into Aunt Faye and Mimi!! (can you tell he just woke up?)

Deer in headlights.  Can you imagine waking up in the middle of a fair having never really experienced one before? He was a bit freaked out.

Our friends Adam, Lindsey, and Caden went with us.  We always have a great time together and love letting Mason and Caden run around and play together.  There is never a dull moment with those two.

Mason loves apples so he freaked over my caramel apple. See the intensity in his face right there?  That is our friend Heather holding him.  Mason loves Heather!

The only reason I come to the fair is for the food.  I have never ridden a single ride.  My mom brainwashed me at an early age about how unsafe the rides were after being taken apart and put together so many times.  I am sure my end will come while I am at the fair eating a fried snickers when a seat falls off the ferris wheel and lands right on top of me.

All of Mason's dreams came true when he saw this "tra-tor."  He got to check it out and then Daddy put him in the seat so he could drive.  Notice he has bunny in the seat and the apple in one hand while trying to drive with the other.

He did not want to get off of this thing.

Mason and Caden checking out the ducks.  Mason can do a very loud "quack" sound. Very loud.

The rest of the night was spent standing in this spot staring at the ball.  He seriously stood here for.ev.er. watching people shoot the ball and saying "ball" "ball" "ball."

Finally the man running the booth decided to let Mason have a couple of free shots.  It was great!  Not sure the ball even got into the net that catches the balls, but Mason was carried away.  No, we didn't get a giant stuffed animal and if they had tried to give us one I would've politely declined.  What do people do with those things?

Snapshots from the Fall

Hi friends!  I am back to post some more catch up photos.  Not a lot of words with this one, but I still wanted to document these moments.

"No!"  Mason is really good at getting onto the dogs when they are doing something wrong. Or not doing anything wrong.

When driving his truck, you can find any assortment of goods in the trunk as well as the cab.  I think he decided that he no longer wanted Bunny as a passenger.

He and "Nunny" have been B.F.F. for a while now.  We have 4 bunnies but one is missing.  I guess that means we just have 3 bunnies.  We got smart and ordered back up bunnies when Bunny #1 got "lost" in the play kitchen refrigerator at the church nursery.

He likes to sit in his chair and read books.  I think it is so funny that he does this on his own.  The Big Truck Book is a favorite.

This "Moo" book has pretty much been completely destroyed from all the "love." We still have it but it is in a couple of pieces.  He also has the dog book and animal book from the same author and loves them both as well!

Mason's friend, Hadley, invited him to come to her grandpa's land and ride the cotton picker!  Somehow she knew that Mason was a big fan of machines.

Of course, he was beside himself! He sat quietly in my lap for the whole ride, mesmerized.

We got some quality time with Isabelle and Lillian who share Mason's love for Elmo.

Here, Mason had just dumped water all over himself from the water table and then played in dirt. I had to strip him down. A.K.A. the usual.

Bunny goes for a ride in the John Deere.  Bunny is really very adventurous. Conveniently, he is always sleepy at nap times and bedtime.

One of my favorite pictures of all time.  That is Bunny on his shoulder.

Baby Feet.

A fun evening outside (I sure am missing that weather!).

Baby Flowers... Ben sent me these the day after we found out about Baby #2! They were so pretty!

"Moon."

The lighting this evening was so beautiful and Mason was having a ball digging with his tractors.  He kept saying "I dig. I dig"

Here he is showing us all how he can clap.  He likes singing "If You're Happy and You Know it"

I am looking a bit rough here, but had to post the family picture!  Clearly we were all taking it easy that day.
